LOGOS
Your home planet is gone. Found humanity's first colony on an alien green world, one bed and one settler at a time.
You are not Robinson Crusoe
A natural disaster finished off your home planet, and you are one of the explorers sent to find a new home. The Ark-7 landing capsule touches down in a meadow with two sticks and three fibres in your backpack.
Success here isn't measured by how long you last alone, but by how many people were able to join you. Set up a free bed, and half a minute later a shuttle lands with a new settler.
Aurora Centre keeps in touch over the radio: it guides you through the story and explains each mechanic right when you need it. Settlers get their jobs through conversation: walk up, ask what they're doing and give them a task.
Features
- Housing means bedsThe first bed is yours, in the capsule. A log house sleeps 2, a stone house 4. A free bed calls in a shuttle.
- Work through conversationA settler checks their tool, workstation and materials and tells you in their own words what's missing.
- 44 radio chaptersFrom landing to the radio tower and expeditions. You don't have to go in order: the Centre tracks up to three tasks at once.
- Hunting, fishing, farmingChickens and hares run away, the bow reaches 15 tiles, and arrows don't pass through trees.
- Three tool tiersStone, copper and iron axes, pickaxes, hammers and fishing rods. Tools wear out and are sharpened on a whetstone.
- Storage and logisticsA chest, a pantry for food and a tool shed. Settlers carry resources and products to the right storage on their own.
- 14 blueprintsPlanks, houses, foundations, furnace, copper and iron, sawmill, assembler, radio, pier and more.
- Night and wolvesThe pack grows with the colony, up to 6 wolves. Settlers grab bows from storage and shoot back.
- ForestryA settler plants saplings around the forester's lodge: a bush grows in a day, a tree in three.
- A living worldFog of war, a day-night cycle and footpaths that get trodden in and speed up walking.
- Build and dismantleA catalogue by category, "ghost" orders for settlers, rotatable walls and gates, and any building can be taken apart.
- Comfortable to playMouse and keyboard or gamepad, a guided UI tour, autosave and a UI that scales up to 4K.
